No.  HTTP and HTTPS are communication protocols. That means that they are a processes by which your browser can send and receive information from a website server.  HTTP stands for "Hyper Text Transfer Protocol".  HTTPS is the secured version of HTTP, which uses private key encryption to secure the data being transferred from your computer to the website server.
